Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Schools:

Starting with Arthur Murray himself, the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Schools have been teaching the world to dance since 1912. There are, at present, close to 400 Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Schools around the world, where people of all ages and all walks of life can learn to dance the "Arthur Murray" way. All the Arthur Murray Franchised Dance Schools teach with the same syllabus, so students can feel free to drop in at any studio, at any time.

The Arthur Murray Montreal Downtown School:

The Arthur Murray Montreal Downtown School is located at 1625 St. Catherine St. West, near the intersection of Guy St. and St. Catherine St West. We are less then five minutes walk to Metro Guy-Concordia and our students can enjoy discounted parking rates in the large, heated, indoor parking area at the Faubourg Ste-Catherine (just opposite the School).

The Downtown School has bright and attractive spaces, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The beautiful "suspended" wooden dance floors are easy on the legs, knees and lower back. There are three separate rooms, each equipped with its own stereo system and ceiling to floor mirrors. 

The school is opened for classes Monday through Friday, from 2:15 pm to 10:00 pm., and on Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Arthur Murray Downtown School (Dazzle Dance Studio Inc.) provides a warm, welcoming, relaxing and safe environment, where students of all ages can feel at home, make new friends and learn to dance. We want to share our love of dancing with our students, offer them excellent service, value and opportunities to explore their creativity through fun and challenge.

Our Students:

Students of all ages are welcomed at the Arthur Murray Montreal Downtown School. At present, our youngest student is 10 yrs. old and the oldest is in the late 70's. Most of our students are within the 23 - 60 yr. age range. Approximately one-third of our students come with partners and the rest come alone, or with a group, family or friends. Student are friendly and supportive of each other, and are always helping each other to practice their steps. They feel that the Downtown School is "their school", where they come to learn how to dance, make friends, and to socialize.

Tuition Fees:

Tuition Fees for all regular programs are income tax deductible. Programs can be paid for by cash, Interac, cheque, Visa and MasterCard. Students can pay in full (at the beginning of their program) or in monthly instalments. No interest is charged for monthly payment plans.
